Today I weighed in and have lost a pound and a half since logging on to fatsecret and 7 and a half in total since Jan 11 I think I was up higher than that after the holidays but I was too chicken to investigate. Anyway I would love to lose a little faster but that is 7.5 lbs in 3 weeks which is perfectly reasonable, about 2.5 lbs a week on average and the Atkins plan got me the fast start I needed in order to believe it was possible. So now I see it is possible so I have to be patient and keep chopping away at the fat. When I was in grad school I always pictured that big rock and how each class was a chip or a chunkout of the rock Day by day we chip away. so now I have to picture my fat as the big rock and chip away. I can see now how my carb consumption was stimulating out of control hunger. If I cheat I only cheat myself.The people on the Atkins site are better than weight watchers was because almost everyone is serious. I was so lucky to find them I didn't used to believe in cyber friends but I feel like I live with these people on my street.
