Ok- what do you guys think????

I have been doing really well trying to drink lots of water when I'm hungry and I have stuck to my meal plan foods, BUT for the past 3 days or so- I am hungry ALL the time. I don't mean bored hungry- like on the border of feeling sick cause I'm hungry. I don't want to add in calories just because I'm exercising.....just struggling with this. The other night I had gone to bed by 8:00pm (early I know) and was up around 10:30pm because my daughter had woken up. Well anyway, I was SOOOO hungry I ate the rest of my sushi and a couple tbsp of peanut butter. The scale the next morning was actually really good. I don't know- just tired of fighting this hunger battle. Part of me is guessing it's my body's opposition to change.

Have you ever tried that string cheese??..I keep it on hand when I need a quick hunger fix..also celery with a tad of peanut butter is a good thing..you get a little crunch with that awesome taste of peanut butter at the same time..it will fill you up with out too much damage.. Hope that helps...:O)

Have you checked your blood sugar routinely? It seems like you might be having low blood sugar. This has happened to me. As diabetic when we go on diet and the body needs to get adjusted to the lower sugar intake. Check you sugar and see is it getting real low.

Nick, thats a good question. No i havent been. It hasnt felt so low like hypoglycemic attack.....but maybe my body is adjusting to healthier numbers. I will have to check on that. I literally just feel ravenous....maybe tom is coming. Never been that in tune with myself so i guess i will keep my eyes peeled. Thanks!

Are you always hungry at night?

No, Heather- I'm hungry throughout the whole day. I mean, yesterday I swear I had half of my snacks eaten by 10:30-granted I had worken up by 4:40am to go workout, but still. I wonder if today will be better. I mean, my numbers are looking great, going down- but I just can't stand feeling so dang hungry throughout the day. But yes, nightime is a bad time for me too- especially if I wake up which is practically every night! :-(

MamaS - my first instinct was the 'low' blood sugar, or even 'normal' blood sugar levels. Have you checked those yet? Also, look at your food menus from the last couple of days, and try to find the highest carb amounts... limit those to slightly smaller, but eat them or have a healthy fat, and a protein at the same time! When you do snack, or have a meal...make sure it is balanced with these macronutrients in each 'snack or meal'. See how that helps you.
