Happy New Year, everyone. I made it through all the travel, services, etc. without gaining weight over the holidays. I maintained - so I am pleased. I had 2 decision based days of eating whatever I chose to eat during the holiday, but the rest of the time, even if I did not have Ideal shakes etc. with me, I stayed with protein and salads and veggies. Did not use refined carbs and did not miss them! Now that I am home and staying on task the last two days, I am finding the kidneys are working overtime - so am probably in for a big drop in weight again (the usual sign). Had an excellent sleep the last 2 nights, and attempting to drink more fluid - which both seem to help.
