Having experienced Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), my diet is already extremely restricted from salt. Am having to learn a whole new way of eating. But, the medication I am on leaves me with unwanted weight that I need to try to get off before it gets too out of control. I have been trying to eat right but obviously not good enough. Now I need to incorporate less fat and fewer calories. PLUS, being semi-home bound, I constantly graze which does not help.
I am hoping that tracking meals/intake will help me visualize healthier eating! Love suggestions and simple, gourmet type recipes!
(PS: I like very little fruit but, thank God, I do love veggies!)
