I've been cheating a lot lately; brownies, KFC, chips & cheese puffs, etc. I'm good through the whole day, then lose my willpower in the evenings. I'm a little sad to be back to 190, but if I buckle down, I'll be back under by next week.

I am having success avoiding night time cravings with products from SweetLeaf, such as Sweet Drops and Water Drops. They are a zero calorie sweetener that you add to water, iced tea, coffee etc. SweetLeaf offers many flavors including caramel and strawberry/kiwi. They are quite flavorful and seem to satisfy my cravings while inducing me to drink more fluids.

I have trouble in the evenings, too. My worst time. I think it's because I use food to relax me and reward myself. Lately I'm treating myself to no-sugar added ice cream (1/2 cup) on workout days and cottage cheese with cinnamon and almonds on non-workout days, and it's helped a lot on the PM binge factor.

Night is my nemesis too. I think it's because I'm not as engaged as I am in the day. I too eat more little snacks late in the day, which helps curb it. A lot of people have this problem. Also, if you have a "cheat" don't let it affect you throughout the rest of the day. In the past I did the: "Well, now I've had a brownie and it's all over. May as well eat anything." Just stay to your healthy diet after a cheat.

When I get in that place, I just make myself be accountable to keep journaling my foods, even if I go WAY over my limit for the day. At least that way I hold myself responsible for making a choice to eat. For me, it's more empowering and I have an easier time breaking those patterns. Keep working at it. You are WORTH the effort. :)
