Did you find fasting difficult?

Not necessarily the food bit. Not having anything to drink was more of a problem really. Gave me a headache.

You normally drink gallons on a fast. Surprised you were not allowed water but I suppose "Nil by mouth" means just that. For my ops, it is just food I have to forego, for 24 hours previous.

I was able to drink until 8:30am so I had my cuppa in the morning. I was expecting my procedure to be done around 3pm but after 4pm they came to tell me it wouldn't be until about 5:30pm; and because the time was too close by then, I still wasn't allowed to have any liquids lol. Poor me. I had another cuppa when I came home after 9pm!

Sorry I should have said I was able to eat until that time in the morning as well, but didn't bother. Really didn't expect to be out until 9pm. My bad.
