What many do not seem to realize is that we are not angry that our team didn't win. This is not a game. This is the future of our country and our society at stake. We have put the fox in charge of the hen house and think he is going to have the chickens' best interests at heart. Make no mistake, Trump does not care about anyone but himself. He doesn't want to "make America great again"...he wants to make America backwards again. So yes, we are angry and we are scared. Scared because some were so focused on change at any cost that they didn't realize how high that cost may be. The worst part about that is that they have signed us all up to pay that high price. I hope I am wrong. I hope he ends up being the best thing this country could ask for. However, I don't think I will be wrong. I have never wished to be more wrong in my life. 

Republicans, Conservatives in particular, really exposed themselves as the truly religious frauds that they are.  

The problem is that there is a separation of church and state for a reason. One should not have anything to do with the other.  

He's putting a climate change denier in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency. Don't they know that the future of humanity is at stake on that one? It's sickening. 

Expect Trump to do whatever will result in the most profit. Deportation will never happen, too much access to cheap/slave labor.  

And who cares if we're removing mountains for polluting coal. They're not in our state. 

April, life goes on and maybe we will get lucky like a throw of the dice, that we will all be Ok. We can only hope and pray.

Thanks Erika! You too! We will make it through all of this Erika, but this was a pivotal election like never before. This will have a lot of roller coaster ups and down, I believe. You have a great day and night! 

Sierra, sorry I have been driving to Vegas and missed your post, but your words struck me to the heart. This was such a pivotal election, and I really don't believe things will ever be the same for so many. I am most worried about the tax cuts, and believe me, me and many of my friends are getting tax breaks in the tens of thousands, but what good is that, if the country goes broke with the present 20 trillion dollar deficit. I have seen how Trump made shareholders go BROKE, with a smile on his face, so he could clear them away, and create a new company. I think he and his cabinet prospects are pure EVIL. Thanks for your post! 

Interesting post Kp! I missed yours too. Yet, in a way, I disagree. Bush would be the best Republican alternative, but all the other candidates were flat out NUTS. The Republican Party is SO broken. Trump is an interesting dilemma. He will turn very conservative, because the nutty right voted him in, but I don't even believe, in himself, he believes what he says. Some things he has talked about could be good, like congressional term limits, but this erratic man, with ADD and and a weird kind immaturity should not be in control  

......of our country. He is way, way, WAY over his head. I believe he will be lazy, and he really, as Sierra says, only cares about HIMSELF. Why many, many people could be nervous wrecks about his instability. It makes one to suffer a kind of permanent insomnia. We ALL wait with a very nervous tick. 

.....and Phil you are spot on correct about not getting the Hillary vote out, but I believe the REAL problem, was MEN of all races and makeup NOT wanting to vote for a woman. The HUGE elephant in the room. 

Republicans have also had a wonderful campaign for 25 years of TOTALLY demonizing Hillary. They succeeded! 

Oh funny, Trump already reacting to repealing Obamacare. He says he may let parts of it stand and young women are freaking out across the nation with their doctors. The reaction by women are making him react. Lol 

Now we are seeing the real Trump who is really a Democrat in wolf clothing! Lol
