Idk. But I get the munchies at night as well. I've tried Wearing a mouth piece I sleep in while watching TV at night. It seems to help me.

Make a plan for times you know you like to eat. You can try to change your behavior by doing something else when you feel like eating or plan for some snacks at night by allotting the calories for it. Some people are grazers.
