Wouldn't record such a silly weight loss, but I've actually been at this weight for a few days, so I'm going to assume it's for real. Maybe by next week it will look a bit more respectable.

Thanks, HCB. Unfortunately, the arm is bad. My appointment with the surgeon is at 1:40 today, and my foster sister is going with me. I seem to have a little more range of motion than when the injury first occurred, but I still cannot lift the arm up. I am so upset... but I also know I can do this even if I need surgery. My original injury was HORRIBLE -- seriously, my arm was broken in 20 pieces and the forearm was no longer connected to the rest of my arm. I was disabled for many many weeks, and there was always this threat that if it didn't heal, I could lose the arm. But I came out of it with a lot of function in the arm, and I know I will be OK. It's just very discouraging.
