JMA312's Journal, 23 August 2016

Day 2 of 3 for this week, and I'm doing ok. I was a little disappointed with the IT box this morning, showed a increase, which I didn't list. Seems like my weight goes down/up/down/up each week. The same 3 pounds and it is driving me crazy. I must admit I don't stay true to my WOE on the other 4 days, especially over the weekend. So I know that is probably it. But at least I can stay with it for these 3 days (less last week when I was sick 2 of those days). Anyway, I've about had it with this staying where I am right now (162). It is time to get it going down and staying down. So I'm saying again, after this 3 day one, I'm going to go on the low carb shakes for breakfast & lunch and have a sensible low carb low cal dinner. EEEKKK
I"m also going to borrow something from a buddies journal as a super saying and motto, hope he doesn't mind.
Repeat after me: My excuses are what is between where I am and where I want to be. I will replace my excuses with reasons and get it done!

thanks Gwen. that word Persevere is a fav one of a friend of mine. I never really got it, but now I do and might need to keep that word in my brain!

gee, even the internet def seems to help get me in the correct frame of mind; "continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success. "his family persevered with his treatment" synonyms: persist, continue, carry on, go on, keep on, keep going, struggle on, hammer away, be persistent, be determined, see/follow something through, keep at it, press on/ahead, not take no for an answer, be tenacious, stand one's ground, stand fast/firm, hold on, go the distance, stay the course, plod on, stop at nothing, leave no stone unturned" there was more but I didn't copy it.

You got this girl! Just gotta dig your heels in and hold on. And yes, persevere is an awesome word, I think it was originally invented for dieters. :P
