walked in a 5K Volkswalk on Saturday. I didn't realize it but the last official volkswalk I did was in 2008! It was a great walk around Gresham. It was a nice gentle walk and a great way to get back into the sport. It doesn't appear to be as popular as it was 12 years ago when I first started. That's sad. It's harder to find hosted walks. There are many walks I can do on my own. I may attend some of the local clubs meetings in hopes of meeting some new people. Note to self: don't drink so much coffee before a walk!
