O ME O MY!! Lost another pound! I was terrified on getting on the scale, but it turned out that I had nothing to worry about. I also noticed that yesterday, my favorite jeans were a little baggy in the thigh area, which puts a huge smile on my face. I really needed that confidence booster, because my self esteem has been the pits.
I also got to see my mom yesterday, and she noticed the difference right away.
I need to get to the gym today, and I really don't feel up to it. I think I pulled something yesterday, because I started running on the treadmill, didn't realize the incline was at 6.0 and my upper thigh is killing me. But I know I have to go, because tomorrow is out of the question, we have this huge event around here called "Pumpkin Chunkin" and I plan on going and getting plastered!! It is such a redneck event and it will be my first time going, so I think it will be very interesting.

Congrats om the loss!! That is awesome! Have fun this weekend but if you can, if at a ll possible, don't drink so much that it sets you back. Think of how far you have come and how good it feels to put on a pair of baggy pants b/c you have lost weight. With that in mind drink in moderation. Have fun but try to scale it back so you continue to make great progress. We are rooting for you. We know you can do it. Now show us you can, not for us but for your health and well being.

Thanks M! Very encouraging stuff :). I'm just going to sit back and laugh at the hicks!! As a NJ native and someone who has lived in Philadelphia, this will be very interesting.

Are you talking about getting plastered by a "chunked" pumpkin, or by some nectar of the gods? LOL. Hey, take it easy on that treadmill stuff. Working out with an injury will take you out of the game. It doesn't hurt to rest now and then, or work the upper body. Have a great weekend.

Here is some education DairyKing, Pumpkin Chunkin is a crazy tradition around here in LSD (lower, slower, Delaware) where they gather all the left over, rotten pumpkins and put them on machines and hurl them through the air!! It is on tv all over the country, and I am lucky enough to live close by. People go crazy, drinking, cheering, etc. Its like a flippin sporting event.

Sounds awesome! Only thing missing is politicians standing out on the range trying to dodge the chunked pumpkins! Did I say that? LOL. You have too much fun in your life! Well; sometimes.

we've seen that here in western NY too. They make these wooden catapults out in hick-ville and that's their wild crazy saturday night outting! HAHA. have fun!

Punkin Chunkin! You must be from slower lower! Next year I'm so totally entering my pumpkin stew in the cooking contest.
