I've lost weight and gained it back over and over as most people have. With having a family I've been too busy to take care of me. My doctor has always talked to me about my weight, but the last time I was there he said "there's no sense beating a dead horse, you'll do it when you're ready". It's been a few years since then, but now I'm ready! I was recently doing WW and lost 15lbs, but now I'm suddenly not losing anymore (and I still need to lose about 90lbs). I'm hoping calorie counting and this site will give me the boost I need!

Im sure you will achieve your goals! I also have a hard time because I am extremely busy being a single parent working full time with children all under the age of 6. Just take it step by step. If you are going to the store, park farther away from the building. Make your portion sizes smaller, if you are still hungry put an attack on those free point veggies and munch away! Add a glass of water or green tea to top it off. If you are within walking distance to the store, def walk or jog to it. I walk/jog to the store daily just to buy a 1.5 liter of Fiji water. When I wake up I drink a glass of water immediately. This helps me detox my skin for the day. Breakfast make sure you get a great source of fiber in! It will help your metab boost up for day, as well as cleanse out your system. I eat a serving size of high fiber cereal (i like frosted mini wheats and kelloggs fiber plus antioxidants cinnamon oat crunch) with a serving size of 2% organic milk daily. followed by serving size of Bolthouse Farms protein shakes, I usually only purchase the mocha flavored or the chocolate flavored. These shakes also have lotsa vitamin b12 and other great vitamins but they taste delish!(purchased at Target for me). Once I switched to these simple lifestyle changes my weight just dropped! There was even a 2 month period where I wasnt even working out at all cept walking to the store at a normal pace, and I dropped weight faster than I had the entire weight loss process! Ive hit my plateau now, but now I am just going to tone up and burn off that lil stretch of weight that I have left to lose. As far as lunch or dinner goes, I eat whatever I want, I just eat the proper portion size. Snacks I stick to fruits and veggies and dip it in a small amount of peanut butter for the protein to hold me off to the next meal. Now I am starting up again on a work out i did a few years ago (finally pulled the dvds out of storage), it is called 10 Minute Trainer. The man in there may make you say "hmm, he's kinda strange." BUT, it works! It worked miracles before I was pregnant with my last child. Each target workout is broken up into 10 minutes! Perfect for the busy mom! You can do one workout a day, or two or all three. He has it all on a calander for you to stick to to get the best results. Plus, I get bored with long work outs, so this is perfect! It goes by so fast, but gets that heart rate up and you will feel the results. You can sneak one in before you shower for work in the morning by only waking up 15 mins earlier. Sneak one in once you get home from work, and stay up an extra 15 mins and you can get the 3rd in. It also comes with resistance bands for that muscle toning. There is something that will work for everyone! Im sure you can do it and I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks for the buddy request. Good luck on your journey, I'm struggling with mine this time of year, but I know the motivation will come back after Santa eats all the cookies! Full time student, wife, mom of 2 little ones...making it work somehow - weight loss falls by the wayside sometimes, but I have to learn to make time! Reach out to me if you need encouragement and I'll do the same! --Sunday
