Honestly's Journal, 13 October 2011

I so love the fantasy world I've created to live in. I've even had new checks made,(JK). Feeling so sassy in my baggy pants and loose fitting shirts. Wow, look at me! THEN I do look at me, face to face with myself in a mirror. Damn. Reality check. I have such a long way to go. I want to log this in my exercise journal. It was exhausting jumping back and forth from; you're doing great to wow, you cant even notice yet. Then, you're doing the right things and making necessary changes BUT you just look fat, will you always be this way? Not feeling the warm fuzzies about the real world. The internal debate that almost got ugly wore me out. My husband had some great advice. When you look in the mirror notice the postives. Recognize your strenghts. He even listed some for me bless his heart. Just between us, he was right! Soo much room for improvement. Today, right now, it's overwhelming. Just gonna keep my head down and plod forward and try to avoid mirrors for a bit longer.

find something that you visually like about yourself. Perhaps it's your eyes, or strong shoulders, maybe a booty that don't quite.. Whichever you like, then slowly day by day find at least one thing to add to the list. Eventually you will learn to like your body and accept that there may always be some areas we feel the need to improve, but look at the improvement made so far. Good luck on your journey.
