Blood sugar this morning down many points from previous measurements, 173 to 133. The number before lunch was 100, a nice number after what I have been seeing. Keeping track of what I eat is the best control of food that I know. Feeling very good. I had been tired, heavy limbed, having a hard time moving around, and today is so different.

My goal was to bring down blood sugar and blood pressure. This has happened after only about 12 days of taking myself off excessive carbs and too many calories. It sure is a great reward for a few hours of hunger a day. I am doing blood sugar every morning and this morning the top number was down twenty points also, from 138 to 119. That's gotta be good.

I do have to watch an impulse to overeat when it's an unfamiliar food I don't know the calories therein.

Exercise, walking four miles a day, is my next goal to add on. My final goal is to lose several lbs. Maybe60, down to 130, certainly a lot less than 197 where I started.
