I posted some of my band's music, and me playing my beloved bass guitar! Come check it out! :)
Last night with The 'Nuts (short for our band name The Black Peanut) went super well. We recorded our entire set, to have OUR versions/arrangements of the song to practice to at home. I love that we're able to do this with fairly cheap technology, and get awesome sound. We play through a PA system and have recording out options to use for this.
I also got to work harder on my bass sound, and I think it's slowly coming together.
I figured, as many have asked to hear, that I would put a sample of our recording on there today.
Before you listen, I do have two favors to ask:
1. Please remember that these are just quickly recorded versions. There are plenty of little mistakes and errors in there, and we weren't trying to perfect anything, just get a decent recording. We did 20 songs last night, so there was not much time for perfection.
2. Please, if possible, put on head phones or connect speakers when you listen. Laptop speakers are generally an insult to music. A good rock'n'roll band deserves better than tiny tinny speakers.

I hope you like it - and comments are welcome.
No change in weight today - I weigh exactly the same as yesterday. Kinda strange actually, I traditionally lose a LOT of weight for Saturday morning, playing in my band Friday evening. For some reason, not this time. Oh well - it'll come.
Today is Indulgence Day. Wife and I will be enjoying not only a lunch buffet but also an impromptu Danish Christmas dinner tonight. Sure, it's October, but who is REALLY counting. :)
It's Saturday, and traditionally I don't journal a whole lot on the weekends. So will it be today also. Wife and I are busy keeping up with our shows. Fringe, American Horror Story, The Secret Circle, Supernatural, Sanctuary, and I decided that I SHOULD start watching The Biggest Loser. So many shows, so little time.
Oh, and I should mention... I have a proposition for a few of you guys. I'll get back to that Sunday or Monday. I'm starting an interesting little project, and I need volunteers! :)
Have a great weekend, my friends! Life is good!
