I know that my biggest challenge is not allowing others to influence my food intake. If I could figure out how to control this, I'd do much better. It's up to me though not others so that's what I am going to try to focus on.

I have had the same problem. It can be hard to escape the herd when it comes to eating. Lately I stick to making my own choices. I like to think that I am making my friends thing about what they are eating when I turn down food and eat light. Hopefully it is having an effect on them.

That's how I gained weight and finally got to the point I needed to see how bad I was. It's still hard for me when eat with people who tempt me. Even when they see my progress they don't seem to respect that I NEED to make a different choice. That's where you have to stand firm and remember you are doing this for YOU too! Good luck!
