I started on Optavia 10/31 and have lost 5 lbs so far. It is helping me to have a coach and to work daily on my mindset. Food wise, it's not much different other than adding "fuelings" and having one "real meal" a day.

I am struggling with my weight loss. I realize that I am not eating as I would like to and therefore it is up to me to be more cautious and discerning about my food preparation, my choices, and my portion control. It's not just about quality but it's about quantity. As far as exercise goes, I am too easily swayed from my schedule by my emotions and I make too many excuses not to stay on top of the game. This is my health and it should matter to me. On some deeper emotional level, I am clearly not loving myself. I am making the efforts that I can to change things and need to remind myself to be loving and patient with my struggles. One day at a time. Breathe. As a final note, I have to remember to try to get a better night's sleep. Turn off those devices!

I'm struggling to get on track and I realize that I need to better monitor my sleep, get to bed earlier if at all possible, get up earlier and set goals because without goals I am lacking in direction and not feeling driven enough and I need that energy of feeling driven like I used to have when I was working to make it to the gym.
