Well yesterday went quite well heres my menu for yesterday.
meal one fresh strawberry and banana smoothie with 1/2 cup 1%milk
Meal two- Lentil soup and an apple
Meal three-Homemade veggie soup with great northern beans and 1 cup of brown rice
Meal three- Additional cup of soup and 1 cup of 1% milk
Snacks yogurt
Guess not too bad the only thing I was bummed about doing was repeating a meal back to back the veggie soup. But other than that I think I did well.

Don't be bummed. Variety is just beyond the horizon. During phase 1, I ate my basic black bean soup with brown rice, 6 days out of the nine and twice a day.

You did great! On repeating, if I like something I will eat it repeatedly, usually until I am sick of it:)

someone help me - I actually brought the book and after reading it - I don't know whether I can ONLY eat veg and fruits for the first 9 days of detox - or if I am to follow Phase 1 for 9 days (where you can only eat veg, fruits, egg whites, oatmeal, beans & lentils and brown rice
