I feel good about today's food intake. A little higher on the protein than the diet recommends, but the carbohydrate control is good which is only what I really care about. I goofed and forgot the salad when I went to the store today, and the salad is really only there to help me feel fuller without eating more calorie dense protein and fat. Don't get me wrong, I tend to feel satiated for longer with this diet than I did with my last diet, but in the actual eating I look at the small piece of meat and think that just is not a meal without some type of side. A salad is the perfect type of side to help fill me up with a healthy, low carb side.
