Last night I was fighting the urge to graze, it got pretty bad so I made a big bottle of lemon water and came back in here and re-visited my previous journal entries. Just seeing where my head was at during the first flush of success helped. The reading and sipping the water killed off the danger time, the idle time between dinner and bed. I am not partaking of dinner right now, but I still have to cook it for hubby, that makes it double difficult. Depending on the intensity of my cravings, I may extend the fat-fast to a week. My normal morning routine nets me about 57% of my daily intake so I am not changing it for the fast. It is the one constant in my diet and I enjoy it, my difficulties are at the evening meal and afterward. I have the misfortune to share a relationship with a man who can eat anything and not get fat and he tends to graze all evening, right up till bedtime. I noticed in my previous journals that his habits did not seem to bother me but right now they do, so I need something to engage my mind till my cravings stop again. Time traveling seems the way to go. Thanks FS for not deleting our old journal entries, they come in very handy.

Neck - 14 inches
Bust - 46 inches
Waist - 38 inches
Hips - 50 inches
Upper arms - 14 inches

Knees - 20 inches

I have come a long way, this is only a tiny step backwards, plus a waste of a few months time that I could have been losing instead of maintaining, but that is all of the shoulda, coulda, wouldas that I am going to do...forward ho!

Re-reading journal entries for help and motivation when you needed, what a great way to handle the situation. I wonder if your husband might be willing to change his grazing habits so he's not doing it in front of you, at least for the time being?

He will, this was an OMG! I gotta fix this kinda thing and he had no warning, once he realized I was re-motivated he told me not to buy him any snacks for the next few weeks, he will finish off the ones he has and leave them alone till I get my cravings squashed. He and I have been married for 31 years, he knows me better than I know me.
