wyolady's Journal, 24 February 2016

So, I put in/recorded everything I ate today... I expected it to be a much lower calorie count than the 2100 recommended - it wasn't. In fact I am over by 150 calories! Now I will see what I ate today that I could possibly trim away.... just trying to remember it is a process. It has taken me more than36 years to get this big; so I suppose it will take quite some time to take it off. Thanks for matriculating me into the community of others who are trying to lose weight. Sometimes I feel like a professor of dieting, but alas I am merely a student of healthy living.

to trim do you could try measuring then logging your food before you eat it .. I normally do it while I'm eating and if my numbers go to high I put the rest in the fridge for later.

Unless you are extremely tall and/or very physically active, you will likely find 2100 to be too high to result in weight loss. Fat Secret generally gives out numbers that are too high. If that's where you got the 2100 number, you'd be wise to check a few different websites to see what calorie limits they recommend for weight loss for your age, height, and activity level. Most women are going to need to drop into perhaps the 1200-1500 daily calories range to experience appreciable weight loss. Good luck!

Likely too many calories to see weight loss. Kpwcalories is right. 1500 is a great start place. Good Luck!
