*food, not good.  

Hey Mistybenner, same thing happened to me today. I cannot delete two entries which I added by mistake to my food diary. I have an older version of the app because my phone is an older model. Not sure what to do. The delete icon has disappeared. :( 

How odd. On the regular computer version, the "x" for delete is still next to food entries. I wonder if they were doing some kind of update of the software. You should try sending an email to the site. 

Same here and it just keeps adding stuff, even though i just wanted to edit quantity 

I see what you mean on the iPad app. Maybe that's why it wouldn't save an item I had used the barcode scanner on earlier.  

Thank you all for responding. I am going to email someone about it. Something like this could be discouraging to some. Ugh. I'm like eek! I didn't eat that! But then my eyes see it and my mind may think I did and add it to my body!! lol. Not really but ya know... Anyway, I'm just going to ignore it. Have a good one everyone! Tomorrow is a new day!! Good luck with deleting anything. I accidentally restarted my diet and can't delete it. I sent support an email and they basically told me... "too bad". Deleting things on Fatsecret is nearly impossible. 

I can still delete stuff...click on the food item, then scroll down to the area right below the place where you can change from one area to another...like breakfast to lunch, and there is a delete button... 

Area called "edit in my food list" 

Or "edit in my food diary"... 

yes i found that one easy but what about the little x that is close to the food item. i use that also. 

The issue is with some versions of the app, which is different from the web/browser interface.  

FatSecret posted on other threads: "Sorry guys, we're aware of this issue with deleting foods and are working to fix it. Should hopefully be resolved in the next little while. Thanks for your patience Wink"

Yes, I use my iPhone for this. I just updated yesterday but still cannot delete. Hopefully they do fix that. Normally I swipe and the delete shows. Now, I swipe and the delete shows but when I hit it the orange triangle shows up then I swipe again and it says try again or cancel. At least they are aware.  

It's fixed!
