JDbowler's Journal, 20 January 2016

I keep telling myself that I am not going to worry about the weight. I see the scale not moving, but I am also using weights as a part of my exercise. I know that I won't see a downward trend yet, but it still kills me to see that I am doing my workouts and (weight wise) I have little to show for it. However, my belt is becoming looser, the weights aren't as heavy as they were before, and I feel like I have more energy than I did just two weeks ago. I can see more definition in my arms just in a couple of weeks. I can feel the burn too, so I know I'm doing something right. I just want to see the gut and the scale go down as well. That is my big thing. So, today with seeing my dietitian, hopefully I can get moving in the right direction. Have a great day everyone.

There are a lot of things that can affect your weight. It's more important to look at things like body measurements and body composition. Also if you are obsessing over the scale don't weigh yourself more than once a week.

I tell myself that too, but I know it's hard. I am trying to use my pants as an indicator of my progress instead of the scale. Concentrate on your behaviors and the results will catch up!

You're doing all the right things - already seeing some good results. The weight will follow. Keep up the great work!

I agree with CatHerder - scale weight is not as important as body composition.
