Happy Monday to all my FS friends. Finally, after weights on Wednesday and having to skip the gym on Friday because my arms weren't cooperating, I got back to the gym this morning. I forgot my paper that the trainer set me up with for my workout today, but I knew I was working legs and abs, so I modified it a little. Since I didn't make it on Friday, I did the 30 minute total body workout, then did some hip ad and abduction exercises. Then I went and did some ab crunches. A little bit of the elliptical, ARC trainer, and the bike, and I say I killed my workout. Just getting back into the gym is a big deal for me, so getting in and sweating the way I did today makes me happy. Got on the scale this morning after the workout and dropped another pound. I am liking this pound at a time thing.
So, for family news. Today is the day that we get to see if my youngest gets this Taylor Spacial Frame off of her arm. She is a real trooper. She has had this on since May and we are hoping that the doctor is going to say, let's get this thing off of her arm. Bad news is that it requires surgery. However, we have grown 8 cm in her arm and it looks like the bone has hardened very nicely. Here's to praying.
As for myself, I have an appointment with my dietitian this week. I am hoping that the staff can lead my on a good route to get past this plateau.
I hope you all had a great weekend. And keep moving. Your motivation and determination fuel my fire to keep going. I only hope mine can do the same for you.
