I'm so terrible about keeping up with journal entries. Updating food and what I do throughout the day? No problem! Putting my thoughts for the day down on paper? Apparently quite difficult!

I'm glad to see the weight coming off (even though it's more than likely water weight) but it's really motivating. And it looks like it's going to be a warm weekend this weekend, so I'll definitely be down at the park both days.

I started an 'I DID IT!' list and its actually been very helpful. Seeing what I've done throughout the day instead of all the things I didn't get to is quite motivating. It's keeping me excited and it's giving me an idea of the things I need to work on, like getting out of bed at my alarm.

Ultimately, I want to start getting out of bed early enough in the morning to go to the gym before work, prepping all of my food for the week, and get on a regular work out schedule. Lofty goals, but I'm pretty stubborn.

It was kind of disheartening though, when I told my family about what I wanted to do. They told me that this is the same song and dance I've been doing for years and that I'm never going to lose the weight. I'm going to try my best to translate that negative energy into the energy to prove them wrong.
