Hi all, just wondering what everyone does to get an accurate weigh in each day/week (whenever you do it!). I am trying to weigh myself first thing in the morning, and I don't eat or drink anything after 7pm on any evening.

Congrats on your goal. Tip. Water weight will fluxuate but if you cut your caloric intake to under 1500 per day and add high intensity cardio workouts you should trim down .

I just record once a week, and I weigh myself on the same day/time. There will be fluctuations, but all I'm really looking for is the general trend.

Every Monday morning first thing after using the potty.

Yep, same as Letty. First thing Saturday mornings, after using the restroom. I drink water if I'm thirsty, I don't cut off at anytime.

I mean the night before. I don't drink water in the morning until after my weigh in.

Well, I bought a digital scale last weekend, it was a disappointment to find out how much my analog scale varied...just speaking to the accuracy part of your comment...

I certainly seem to be more consistent if I don't have anything from 1830 onwards each night BUT i think you are right AmberLaine, probably silly to not have water if I'm thirsty - dehydrated isnt losing weight! Thanks for your comments guys - I find it really hard but Ill keep plodding away. I cant resist weighing myself about 3 times a day though - dont know what I expect to see!

Hi IamYellowcake - i use the digital scale for accurary too - the first weigh in with it (last year) was scary! Dont know how analog get away with being so far off!

I use four scales and average them - two digital and two analog
