So far so good on the "Slow Carb" menu listed in the book 4-Hour Body by Timothy Ferris. I don'y follow it to the letter but pretty close. I have also been altering my gym workout to more closely match some of the workout chapters in his book. I don't go every day now but the cardio for me is needed due to my Diabetes so I fill that in on some of my "off" days and do 30 to 45 minutes. I also started bicycle riding so I am working on ways to burn additional calories where I can instead of being inactive.
Want to know what I'm eating? Six days a week it is lean meats of fish, vegetables, and beans. I eat until I'm stuffed 3 times a day. Breakfast is eggs, various meats (usually turkey bacon), spinach and beans. I also vary the vegetables and meats for each meal. I don't count carbs, calories or portions (the more the better). One day a week is a "cheat day". Anything you want and as much as you want! I still lose weight the next day. Amazing. More to come as I monitor B.P. and Glucose levels.
182.0 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 22.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
