For 5 months now I've focused almost exclusively on eating to lose weight. And it's worked... almost 45 lbs gone! Not bad considering I had surgery and took a week long cruise in there.

But as of today, it's been 7 weeks since I had surgery and I've got to start being more intentional with exercise to continue my weight loss and ultimate goal of being healthier overall. So I downloaded the Planet Fitness app and got a day pass to use while my daughter is at cheer practice. I did 2.5 miles on the treadmill and I feel great!

Let's see if we can kickstart my metabolism again and maybe lose another 10 pounds by the end of the year!
