People didn't lie when they said you would gain weight once I was settled. I have been with my husband for 10 years, living together for seven and married for four. Since this time I have gained over 45 pounds and unhappy about it...

I have heard to get rid of clothes that don't fit anymore... However, my goal is to fit back into my professional clothes again because I can't afford to spend a load of money on clothing...

As for our activity level it varies I usually try to ride my bike (stationary) for a 1/2 to an hour everyother day. If the weater permits my husband and I play tennis for over two hours but that is less then once a week because we haven't have such great weather this year...

I am a pretty health eatter except lunchtime I visit an old man that lost him wife last year and he buys me lunch which consists of either an italian mix sub I only eat half, a sausge and pepper stromboli that I only eat half of, yesterday was fried chicken with corn and a side of fries, I barely at any but I have to eat a little of it.. He goes out of his way to pick me up things to eat and if I don't eat he says I don't want you to go hungry... How can I tell someone that goes out of their way that I don't want it after all this time...

What to do... I am not happy with the way I look and feel... It is time to make changes to a healthier ME...

Plan ahead, and order light, and basically, stop seeing the guy if he won't respect your wishes. There are plenty of salads at those sub places - explain to him over and over if you have to keep hanging out with the guy, so that he understands that you are not rejecting him, just the food. Yes, things change, that is life!

Feedback is a gift. Be honest with him and tell him you appreciate everything he does for you but that you are modifying your lifestyle as far as food and or exercise are concerned and you would appreciate his help. Perhaps suggest or write down a few things that you would enjoy for lunch. I'm sure he would want to help you, especially if it would make you happy! Take care!
