Happy hump day FS friends
After my slow start and double dose of coffee yesterday, I finally got motivated and spent the rest of the day in the yard, working on the hillside (almost done) and mowing the lawn. Other than a quick break to hydrate and have an apple with nut butter, didn't eat until later on. All that movement and activity left me super hungry, so ended up having more than my daily caloric allowance. Ah well. You would think that my body would get energy from fat burning but nope. Not the end of the world as the intake was healthy, just a bit more than I should have to continue weight loss.
When I came in, there was a message from my 95yo neighbour telling me just how much pleasure she gets looking at that hillside. Objective met, as that was my goal all along. It will only get nicer in the years to come as the plants fill out and mature. Fingers crossed that she is around for a good number of years to see it!
