Good Morning FS Warriors! Day 2 of my fast and all is well. There is a HUGE difference between choosing not to eat when you feel good and strong and you know that you can just walk into the kitchen at any time and eat, and being ill and knowing that everything you tried to eat tastes like crap and makes you gag. The first one allows you to choose to ignore hunger, the second one makes you focus on the lack of food...hunger drives you to keep trying everything in the house until you find something that tastes tolerable and then to eat it like there is no tomorrow, there is no ignoring hunger, there are no satiety signals. I much prefer method number 1 😊 I am so happy to be back, not quite in the zone yet, but I'm getting there! My black coffee tastes like it should, daily meditations has my brain quiet and not in a frenzy of emotions and random circling thoughts. Peaceful, quiet, empty in the moment, it's not a bad way to start off the day!
