You know, I try really hard to be optimistic and upbeat when I journal, because I know I'm doing something that's important to my health and wellbeing. I want to be able to see the good that I'm doing and all that, but MAN am I crabby and depressed this morning. I am exhausted and woke up famished. I spent all day yesterday just starving, and I ate all day (approved foods, lots of celery, fresh green beans, lean pork for dinner, etc...), drank lots of water & coffee, and so gained weight. I just don't understand how there are days when I am satisfied all day and lose, and then when I feel empty all day I gain. Totally unfair! I'm sure everyone goes through the same types of things, and I'm sorry for whining. Right now, though, I could really use a full night's sleep, a big uncensored meal and a long walk with no company.

There's my rant - hope everyone else's day is great!

I know how you feel! There are some days when I just can't seem to fill up. Here are a few things that help me: a HOT shower/bubble bath, a big uncensored meal, sit ups/ jogging- I'm not a huge fan of this one ;) and sometimes just a GIANT glass of milk does it. Good luck!

Mamax4 great rant I feel exactly the same way today so maybe this is just a natural progression of this diet. Maybe,if we try on our your old pants and then some new ones this will give us the inspiration we need to continue on this path to a new way of living. I know that when I go through my closet and see how my clothes fit I feel alot better.

I'll subscribe to the long nap and long walk alone cure for crabby-ness, but if you really think about it, the uncensored meal won't make you feel any better now or a couple of days from now. I know how you feel, just keep with it. Grab a pizza made on whole wheat dough and rejoice that you haven't gained since you started posting on the site. :) LOL, you'll feel better!
