I was really hoping for a larger first week weight loss, but it is typical for me to lose weight at 1-2 lbs per week. I am not giving up ... a loss is a loss!!! Yay!

1 or 2 lbs a week is a healthy average, but if you are like me you get impatient! I am trying a longer than 2 week Atkins induction and am still going slow. Probably partially age related. Our metabolism does slow down. My first week back on was a hugh loss, but doctor added a blood pressure pill that took of some water weight so that doesn't really count. Keep on keeping on! We can do this!
