week # 3 & so far so good.....I'm still losing...my diet is actually more for my diabetes/weight loss & I'm counting carbs (for my diabetes), fats (for my high cholesterol), calories (for my weight loss), & sodium (for my hypertension)...plus trying to get 4-6 cups of water in a day...seems like if I keep to the limits, I can do 3 of them ,then there is always one that is over the top....I can't get all of them within the limits of my meal....so right now I'm forgoing the ones that I'm on meds for (off & on the fats & sodium)the sodium seems to be the hardest to limit & I don't even USE salt....but 1500-2400 mg. is not much as EVERYTHING seems to be loaded with sodium & I average about 4500 mg. a day....these are my limits/goal a day...1600-1800 calories, 16/240g carbs a day (4/60g. per meal/snack), 1/4-1/3 of total calories for fats (45-55g./400-500 cal.), sodium 2500-3000mg., fluids 8-10 c.(4-6 being water)PLUS added movement/exercise @ least 20-30 min. a day.
