I was given a bunch of western instant food stuffs by another teacher leaving China. I've been eating it and I've noticed it's all tasty and easy to eat A LOT, and it does not keep me full. It tends to be higher cal and that combined with inability to keep me full means I want so much more food. I'm going to have to stay away from it or control how I eat it a little better to get around this unfortunate side effect.
It's been raining almost continuously lately which means the air quality is much better than normal and it's cooler. I'm hoping to spend some time at a local garden tomorrow walking to help burn off some of the extra cals I've eaten lately.
Otherwise, I feel I'm making good progress. I'm down 5 pounds from where I started and my goal is to push on to 115 by the end of July.
Positive inner dialogue is also very important. Putting yourself down is demotivating and uninspirational.
