I didn’t find it that bad. Worst thing is the day before…☹️

Easy peasy, had 4th one in Dec 2022. Took a stool softener 2 days b4 to get started. You sleep thru it, no pain or discomfort after. Wait a few hours after to eat solid or greasy food.

The worst part is the prep but last time I went I didn't have to drink the humongous jug of laxative stuff but just a small bottle of something different...much easier and the procedure wasnt painful at all.

Same, preps the hardest part. I opt for the OTC prep rather than RX because the dr prescribed prep works a little too well on me, and I couldn't keep it down. I didn't know they'd give me a choice. If you're one to have a hard time cleaning out then go with the one prescribed.

Actually they didn't offer a choice but I found out later I could have.

You won’t feel a THING! They don’t put you fully under but do put you under. It was painless but the fasting and cleansing was annoying :/

Thanks F/S fam bam. I got the prep in the mail called clenpiq cranberry flavor also five pills of ducolax. Hoping it will go down easy. I was used to the golytely but you never really go that predictively light lol. I guess I can tell my patients how the clenpiq tastes and how quickly it works. 😂

How many hours to wait before eating seagirl? I definitely would not want any greasy meals after. Might have a leak issue. 😆 or worse cramps.

Prep is the worst, the drinking of it, lots of it and going to the bathroom non stop. Procedure was totally fine. Felt cleaned out afterwards that’s for sure!

Pinayrn's: The doctors office gave me a paper with recommendations to drink water to rehydrate and wait a few hours and to eat mainly soft bland foods. I can't access the paper this week. Search online "what to eat after a colonoscopy" for info. (See medicalnewstoday dot com)
