Believe it or not I'm actually on the decline. I was freaking out that I'd gained more than 10 lbs as soon as I began weight lifting. But I've gone from a size XL to a L in all of my clothes. My friends keep telling me not to worry but I've got a life of weight loss experience and only two months of weight lifting experience...judging by the scale is a hard habit to break.
So one of my friends who is an ex-lifter let me know that she is certain that I'm not consuming enough protein to compete with my lifting. So, now I am sampling different vegan protein powders. Made banana icecream using the protein powder (frozen banana, coconut milk, protein powder) and it was freaking delicious. This is going to be a fun experiment to see which protein powder I like the best.
Got a pool party to go to next week. And I'm rocking the bikini!

I know what you mean, that is what I used to worry about because the scale would say different things. I became to realize that muscle weights a lot more then fat but it is thinner. Keep it up!! and please share your recipes when you can!

Hey Anita Love, yesterday's banana ice cream was made with two frozen bananas and the chocolate flavored protein powder. I'm vegan so I don't drink milk. I used coconut milk, but you can definitely do soy milk or almond milk. Start with a half cup, and if your blender is blending still add a little more until it starts blending your bananas. It should turn into a nice soft-serve consistency. Don't use ice...your frozen bananas are your ice :)
Pterath, thanks for commenting. I think Anita already knows that a lb is a lb, actually I think everyone does, but muscle weighs more than fat is so much easier to say. :)
Thanks Tamarah!

I use bananas , almond milk, vanilla, and a wee bit of xantham gum( if you have any). I do the same thing with frozen strawberries.
