Pterath's Journal, 25 May 2015

39 days since lifestyle change and I hit 18 lb loss this morning. I still have a lot more to go but I feel good despite the aches and pains from all the DIY (Day 22). Which has been progressing well. Exhausted does not cover it but i am too excited to care about pain or anything else. I have hated this old house for so long with it's crumbling walls and falling ceilings mold mildew and things I could not get under control because they were so bad. Now we are making it our home - finally. Crying with joy over all this. I am such a sap.

Remodeling is simply hard work!! The rewards for finishing are great! Having your home fixed up and somewhere you love will make a world of difference in how you feel.. Hopefully your DH's asthma will be better as well. If you have mold/mildew it may be making it worse. I love my basement which is essentially done except the ugliest bathroom ever. Mine goes very slow with just me doing most of it. Had to get some other things done as well this week so I can get back at the kitchen. I need some extra hands and muscle to help me finish, so had to make space for the grandsons now that they are out of school.
