An easy training walk for crazy pup around the little neighborhood added 2000+ steps to my fitbit, she wanted to keep going, I was getting hungry. She is doing so good at walking on a leash properly, a few diversions for squirrels and barking dogs but her attention came back to me pretty quickly. This also reinforces me to go for more walks with her!! Good for me and her!

It rained half the day so everything it wet, humidity is high, the sun is out and around 70 so pleasant. I basically have the morning and late day tomorrow and Sunday to work in my yard weather permitting, if the rain stays away overnight. Otherwise strictly inside, course I have a lot to do.

I have a memorial service to go to an hour away on Sat. mid-afternoon. The plus with the location is on the way back I can stop at a couple ethnic stores I've been wanting to go to but have not made the trip. I may splurge on some Indian food as one of them has a small café and it is supposed to be pretty good. Since I've only had my Indian food in well over 10 years, it will give me an idea if I'm even coming close.

I'm going to be bad-- as far as most everyone here is concerned. I'm hungry for salt and crunchy tonight. I'm going to fry some tortilla chips, salt and season them. I have some nice fresh white corn tortillas. Last time I was hungry for crunchy and salty my sodium levels had dropped into a danger zone. My doc said pay attention if I was craving salt. I thought I had some roasted salted peanuts, if I do they are lost in the disaster area called re-do the kitchen!! Popcorn will give me a stomach ache.

They hit the spot! I get locally made white corn tortillas with no additives. Corn, lime, salt, and water that's it. They are really good. Cooked quickly in really hot canola oil and shake off the oil really well so they are about dry. A bit of sea salt and jerk seasoning or chili lime. OH so good. Tonight I used jerk, no clue where the chili lime is. LOL!!! lost in my big box of spices somewhere. Not sure how to do enter them on my food diary as they are cooked so fast they absorb almost no oil.

Good idea LindaLee about measuring the oil. Haven't thought of that. Then you could subtract a little for that that is shaken off in the strainer after they come out of the oil or just leave it in as a hedge for the day.
