I guess it comes down to if you don't love yourself then who will? And yes while we are trying to improve ourselves and haven't quite reached our goals, we should appreaciate the steps we've taken so far in this journey. We also should love ourselves for being important parts of other people's lives. I think its cool to spoil yourself every once in a while and for me it was going clothes shopping knowing I could buy smaller clothes! Have fun today.

Well Butterfly since you must know I brought these 2 shirts I've had my eye on. Both shirts are these high quality shirts that have Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk with comic strip drawing in the background. They weren't cheap but I had a coupon for $20 of any purchase over $70 so I brought a pair of shorts. I was really happy that I used that coupon cause I had to go online and full out a questionaire but more importantly the shirts that I brought are starting to feel even looser and I went back online to get another $20 off coupon so I might be back to buy more chothes in the near future. I might buy some more workout gear cause working out 2 times a day you go through gym clothes real quick.

Hey Shia, tell your son that I said thank you! That was sweet! You know I really have to watch myself at the Mac store! It is very easy to spend over 100 dollars on 3 items. LOL :D You know that I am holding you to the jewelry shopping extravaganza!

Michelle- How are you doing today? Did you get devotion time in?
30 Jul 09 by member: Butterfly30

Yep Butterfly I know what he meant by asking you to cut up your sweats cause I used to be on the wrestling team in high school and we had to have 2 wks worth of practice clothes cause there was so much sweat and funk you couldn't wear the same stuff more than once a week.

Shia~ I freakin live at Wal-Mart! I don't care what anyone says about that store. I will fight threw the crowds of people, deal with the odor, and still find it to be a pleasant and coast efficient experience. Their new slogan is "Save more and live better". LOL I found some really nice blouses for work there!

Ms Michelle~ Ha-ha I am not a balla! I just can not find any other product that covers as well on African American skin! Mac has great tones for all shades of skin. However, it is extremely hard on the skin. So I use Mary Kay Time wise for skin treatment! Aside from that I am still waiting on my stimulus check from the bailout fund...LOL j/j

A girl came into work the other day with a cute red blouse on and I asked her where she got it and she Walmart. It was so cute. You're right about makeup, its hard to find makeup that covers us really well. I use Clinique because we don't have a Sephora here or a Mac store. See, all the more reason to get my butt to Cali so we can go shopping!!

:D Shia If you came to Cali you would have a blast! Although we are a broke state (LMAO), we still know how to look rich! LOL I have never tried Clinique...Does it cover well?

We look like we have about the same skin tone and I use something called Spice-I think-yes, it covers really well and I don't feel greasy or gross. I thought IMAN's makeup would be good, but honestly, it isn't.

I know about IMAN's makeup. It did nothing for me. So I just stick to what I know works and that is MAC. However, I am going to look into the Spice.
