Hey look, we made it to Friday!! My goal for the weekend is to stay on track! lol I'm tired of busting my butt all week just to be thwarted from any significant progress because of those two pesky days. My husband is on board, so this weekend will break the cycle.
I started off the morning on the right foot.. in the gym. Mother in law wanted to take me out for breakfast after she attended my son's grandparents day thing at school. I planned what I was going to eat ahead of time and stuck to it, hooray. Honestly though, it sucked. If I can't go out for breakfast and order stuffed French toast then I would rather not go out for breakfast at all. I can make eggs, omelets and home fries myself for a fraction of the calories and even more flavor. But I went anyway, and stuck to plan. That's a win.
Lots of housework and homework on the agenda today. Husband wants to go on a long walk this evening, I'm all for it. Should be a good day.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

It's funny, weekends are easier for me than the week, at least the weekdays I go out with hubby. I pack our lunch, but I drink diet coke (in addition to 6 bottles of water) but those chocolate cake donuts (no frosting, just a little glaze) totally get me.

I agree that I can make better, more low calorie and high flavor at home. Why go out? Because you mother in law asked you to. What a win for you to promote relationship AND stick to your plan! The valuable lesson here for us is to plan ahead and stick to it. You go girl!

I know what you mean about going out to breakfast. There was a time in my life when it was a treat to eat out. Now I only do it for the social aspect. Best of luck sticking to your goal this weekend.
