The nice thing about intermittent fasting is the longer you do it the less hungry you are. My fast is 18 hours, but after doing it for a while you don’t feel that same hunger in the morning, you don’t feel that urge to eat. Sometimes, even when my window opens up, I don’t even feel it necessary to eat. On the flipside, the crappy part about intermittent fasting is, at least for me today, was as soon as I ate I felt hungry.
As I was driving I was trying to hold off until around 3:30 because that is typically when I prepare and/or eat my last meal. I, however, could not wait that long, which is fine it’s not like that was a goal of mine. It’s just that if I don’t eat ice cream at around 6 o’clock with my daughter that my window then closed at approximately 2:30. Which again is fine I can just eat earlier tomorrow if I feel the need.
At the moment I am definitely leaning towards no ice cream, because much like in the morning I don’t feel the need to eat, and if I’m not hungry, I shouldn’t eat. On my mom side it was live to eat on my dad side it was eat to live, and I should lean more towards my dad’s mentality. P.s. I’m waiting for 4:45 so I can pick up my daughter.
