Sherillynn's Journal, 26 June 2011

Started off the day rather slowly but to me, that is pure luxury! Took my parrot for a ride in the car down to Grandma and Grandpa's (my in laws) so she could get some special attention. Being busy all week, she has been a little bit neglected in the attention department. Being only two years old, she needs more than just a few minutes per day so she was on her best behavior for the car ride and visit. Its rather funny though how she jabbers all the time and then when we go somewhere, she pretends to be shy. Just like a toddler! My older parrot, Bonnie, really doesn't care if she ever goes anywhere other than out on the deck to sun herself on nice days. I guess with age, they become a little more settled.
I am off to repot some of my house plants and then play in the garden. Wish I had one more day off to putz around but next weekend, there'll be a 3 day holiday.
Staying on plan the last few days even though I haven't journalled. Sometimes the weekends can be a bit of a challenge but this one is going well.
Almost forgot, 2 new calves this morning. Beautiful, beautiful! Gotta love it!

HI, Sherill! Congratulations on your 2 new babies! How are the new litter of kittens doing? How nice that you take the parrot to see Grandma and Grandpa! The in-laws probably really enjoy the visit too. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi Sherillyn, I too have beef in the freezer..Oh man is it nice to not have to hunt and search for that one package that looks even close to good looking enough to bring home for cooking..Oh its the best meat there is..Even if we didn't raise them, I would buy one off the guy that does ours as he has his own meat packing plant..I know that he is clean as we split a cow every year..No Paula I don't have birds and I won't have one, only because my husband hates birds of any kind...Hahahaha Have a great day......Bren
