I've been on an emotional rollercoaster lately, which is not like me. Anyway, when I get into a blue funk, I just eat whatever. Friday, I made pecan candy, something I haven't done in at least 30 years, and I ate all of it, even though it made me feel sick. Now, that's pretty bad, I must say. So, I haven't done that again, but I haven't been eating well, and I barely got out of bed yesterday. Been watching way too much news. Also, sleeping very poorly, it's 3:30 a.m. right now. I'm trying to do better, just made myself a cup of green tea, which I plan to drink, then turn off the light and try to go back to sleep. Thanks for letting me unload.

Oh Shir. I decided around 2016 not to watch the news. I figure if something is important enough, I will find out anyway. It brings such a negative atmosphere, I hate TV. I don’t watch anything at all on there. If it wasn’t for hubby, I wouldn’t even have one in the house. Self care love. Please don’t stay in bed, a recipe leading to depression and other issues. Sending big hugs, now I’m worrying about you. 😓💝

Wifey, thank you for your concern, I really appreciate it. I'm feeling better today and I'm up and about already this morning. As for TV, I hardly ever turn it on, in fact, my TV has no sound and I've been needing to buy a new one for a couple of months now and haven't gotten around to it yet. I watch the news on YouTube on my tablet, which may be even worse, I don't know. Anyway, I didn't watch much yesterday and plan to continue to limit my watching.

Shir, splurge and get you a big screen Smart TV and hook up to the internet! Subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV or Prime. They are loaded with some of the funniest, uplifting, series. Or if you like intrigue and mysteries, they've got them. With a big screen, you might be able to have a show on and still see it while you do your household chores or cook.

Aww, so sorry to hear things haven't been going so well for you. I'm praying you will be able to get back on track soon (like immediately) and that the "blueness" will dissipate and leave you feeling motivated and determined to continue to pursue your goals. God bless, Shirley!
