Look you guys! I ate carbs with my dinner!!! We grilled a pork tenderlion, made a mexican cirn mix, and homemade rice mix. Today is a double up workout day so nutritionist suggested I eat carbs the night before to fuel my body for heavy workout day.

Thanks Wifey. It was tasty. I made a rub for pork loin and hubby grilled it. For many who know me, I limit my carbs to between 75 to 100 grams a day. I usually eat a lower carb vegetables and protein for dinner. Since I'm really trying to build muscle and I'm in maintenance, I'm beginning a new eating plan.💜💪

Looks really good! I didn't do Keto when I was in weight-loss mode but I did reduce carbs. I always ate lots of fruit but less potatoes, bread, pasta & rice. In maintenance I started adding more of those back in but I'm still careful with portion size. Hope your workout is great today!

Sherry, I could never do keto. For one I have heart issues and for another I could never do under 30 carbs and super high fat! I have always followed a daily low carb, ( under 100 gm) high protein, ( over 100 gm) and moderate fat ( 35-50 gm) food plan but I ate most of carbs before 2 pm. Now nutritionist has me doing same amount but more balanced throughout the day.💜

That looks wonderful!! I have a heart issue too and should be probably on less red meat but I grew up on a farm and when I started lifting weights and my trainer said to eat any meat I was on board! Pork is my go to and I eat at least 3 pork chops. This is cheesey but I was our county pork queen and they always called pork the other white meat!

Superman, the corn was great! I used frozen corn, leftover pico de Gallo from tacos I made earlier in week, cilantro and green onions. Added cumin and red chili flakes as well. 👍

I hope your heart issue is under control!! I know you lift as well. I love the last part of your comment! Pork queen....that's adorable!💜💜💜💜
