Good morning! It is Friday and I only work 8-12 then I'm getting my hairs did. It is my first week of eating a higher calorie count (daily fat still below 20% though)and it's going better than it was for sure. I'm training for a half marathon with a 5k and 10k along the way. If this goes well I'm signing up for a duathlon later in the summer.

I was eating around 1200 calories a day and didn't realize I was eating so few calories for my body size and even fewer when I took my activity level into account. Since upping to 2000 I'm feeling much better, not so many headaches or 3pm slumps. I'm happier I've noticed, easier to be in a good mood. I am finding I love to run more and more; I'm hoping to ditch some weight along the way too (wouldn't that make running so much easier?!)

I'm finding I'm a bit low on the protein so I'll be adding a late afternoon or evening protein smoothie I think today, if Amazon delivers my package today!
