Dry brush is good. Always brush upwards towards the heart. Spin class or watt bike and a calorie deficit work for me too if we are talking about legs.

Thanks so much Anne....its arms, legs and stomach. You look fabulous I'm still 3 stone off target and showing signs of loose skin. I'm going to start the gym when I've lost 7 more pounds. Just kept to walking and weights initially. Might try swimming soon if I feel brave enough lol...🙃..thankz so much

Sorry, I thought you meant the appearance of the skin as opposed to looseness. Keep going with what you are doing. Slowly losing weight whilst gradually increasing exercise gives the skin time to readjust and hopefully tighten up again. And body brushing is a great habit to form.

Some people say intermittent fasting helps too. I had some stretch marks which have disappeared since I started losing weight but I suspect it was the fasting that helped. I used to dry brush in my 20s but have given it up since. Must get back into it.

I like dry brushing it soothes and hopefully gets rid of the lumps and bumps....What is intermittent fasting??? Won't that excelerate weight loss...or does it protect muscles....I wish I took note in biology and chemistry...theres so much involved with dieting and fitness....respect to those that have achieved it...I salute...not sure if I have the stamina lol..🤪🤪🤪

Intermittent fasting is restricting the amount of time you are allowed to eat in a day. It gives the body time to heal itself instead of constantly trying to digest food. I would suggest watching Dr Michael Moseley and starting slowly. I feel energized after a long fast and when you dont have to plan and eat meals you have more time for excercising or organising your life. (Full disclosure this is just my experience some people say they get headaches, I keep hydrated with water green tea and black coffee, I hope this helps you or someone else,👍🏻

Lifting weights is the only thing that results in the appearance of more toned skin.
