Greetings Buddies:

Things are rolling along at a reasonable pace. Went to
OTF and got my workout done; will work until 7:00pm and then make a quick run to Whole Foods for some produce on the way home.

I have been using
KetoStix to see if I am burning fat...it says somewhere between "trace" and "small" - my husband did it and his said "negative" so maybe I am doing something here...

Yes you are dedicated, determined, and diligent! Way to show those Ketosticks who is boss. :) Trace is good! I even tested myself the other day but mine was negative,too. I am not eating low carb, so I am not sure why I bothered. LOL! I need to find some PH sticks.

LOL - Keto sticks are used to measure ketones in your urine which is an indication of whether or not you are in ketosis - meaning your body is burning fat for energy - not sugar from too many carbohydrates! Low carb dieters want to know if they are burning fat so they use keto sticks. Simple!

My turn! :) pH strips are used to monitor the body's pH balance. The strips are used by testing the saliva or urine pH levels. Most individuals do these tests from home to monitor the amounts of acid that is flowing through the body. In healthy people, the pH should be 6.4 or above. Testing the pH balance is a great way to make sure that your body isn't acidic; which can be the cause of many health problems like weight gain, low energy, acne and some joint paints.

Yes, Glen, but I had to ask the counter to find them for me as they had them behind the counter. I got my Keto Strips from Walmart drugstore but haven't bought the pH strips yet.

Now Buffy you can't tell me you have NEVER peed on a stick, even if it was by accident? LMAO!!! I have peed on my shoes and that was no fun, though.
