Just found a yummy, treat. Dried strawberries, dried some for my bird, I ate them instead. So good. Will have to dry more than 3 sliced strawberries.

I froze about 10 gallons of raspberries last summer, and two of huckleberries. The birds are on their own.

Bird is my little parrot. He loves fruit, I'm working on making parrot food instead of $10.00 a pound!! I've never had dried strawberries, dried pears or any type of huckleberries before. I froze some raspberries this year from my yard ate most of them just a few left. I put some plastic netting over them last summer as the birds have always gotten most of them. NM, I'd have to grow the huckleberries, mmmm where could I fit them in???
